Logline: When the spoiled, wealthy daughter of a New York senator dies minutes before her wedding the groom's guardian angel "steps in" and takes over her body. Trouble is the bride doesn't want to die and the angel's in love with the groom in this "new age" romantic comedy.

Annabelle, Charlie O'Hirn's guardian angel has a problem — she's too emotionally involved with her charge. Charlie has a problem — he has doubts about his upcoming marriage to long-time girlfriend, Betsy Baker, the spoiled, wealthy daughter of a New York senator. Betsy Baker has a problem — Charlie, a doctor, insists on moving them to Woodstock, New York instead of following in the footsteps of his father, a famous surgeon. Even Betsy's guardian angel, Yvonne, has a problem — she can't get Betsy to behave.

When Betsy dies right before the wedding, Annabelle "steps into" her body to save Charlie the pain of finding Betsy dead. Nobody knows that Betsy's body has been taken over by an angel — not even Charlie. He thinks the changes he sees in Betsy are due to marital happiness.

Unfortunately, Betsy won't accept it was her time to die and Yvonne can't convince her to leave the Earth behind and enter heaven. Annabelle finds it's not so easy to leave the earth as it was to enter, and as each day passes she develops more feelings for Charlie "human-style." Charlie, unaware that his wife is now an angel, finds he's more in love with Betsy than he's ever been.

The move to Woodstock suits Annabelle just fine and she finds a "like soul" in Joseph, a "fallen" angel who parades around the town square with giant wings attached to his back. Annabelle enlists Joseph to help her get back to heaven by strapping on his wings and jumping off a roof. "I saw it in a movie once," says Joseph. "An angel jumps and lands on Earth, so maybe if you jump you'll get back to heaven." Bolstered by too much tequila, the jump only reminds Annabelle how human she really is when she sprains her ankle and Charlie has to "rescue" her.

Annabelle finds the more time she spends on Earth with Charlie, the more she loves him. Frustrated that she can't get her life back, Betsy enlists the help of a local ghost with direct ties to the Devil. All "hell" breaks loose when they join forces to conspire against Annabelle and Betsy decides if she can't get Annabelle out of her body, at least she can get Charlie out of his.

Set against the backdrop of Woodstock, New York where hippies, "new-agers" and old souls run amuck, "Love on Earth," is a romantic comedy about faith, fantasy and following your heart.
